SF Sonic reaches out to 25000 farmers through Zamindar ka Doctor
SF Sonic, India’s fastest growing battery manufacturing brand launched Zamindar ka Doctor – a programme that will reach out to 25,000 farmers across India. The first Zamindar ka Doctor programme was held at Fatehpur, near Kanpur yesterday.
Zamindar ka Doctor is a unique programme where farmers can bring in their tractors for a free battery check up by authorized SF Sonic service personnel. While their tractors get checked by qualified battery mechanics, the farmers themselves can avail of the free medical check up facility offered by qualified medical and health professionals at the site.”
Dr. Tanmay Chattopadhyay, General Manager, Marketing, SF Sonic told media, “In India, farmers are the true heroes of the nation. We all know that farming is very hard work. At SF Sonic, higher output is at the core of our business. This is reflected in our credo – More Power Per Crank. We have invested in technology to ensure that our batteries are hassle-free and deliver more power to the user, in this case the farmer. A healthy farmer means he has the power to perform better. This is the underlying reason for the free medical camp.”
SF Sonic is also reaching out to over 25,000 households spread over 600 villages across 9 states in 60 days to build awareness around uninterrupted power. “Several homes in India do not have access to regular power supply and this is hindering development of people and our country. SF Sonic has developed an innovative battery for home use that provides uninterrupted power supply. With this, SF Sonic would like to encourage homes to install dependable batteries where the power supply is not dependable.”
